- AAACMDec 17, 20251.0Before I have all of my postal needs taken care of out of the Canandaigua office I thought I'd leave this review. Today is Wednesday December 17th. I was at the honeoye post office at 11:20 this morning. Two ladies at the front desk. One with long dark hair and a big smile, and the other one with gray hair and a cranky look on her face. We will call her Grinch. Ms. Grinch was more enthralled by what was going on in the back of the post office then she was with helping the customer, me. Not one smile, hello, or can I help you, just a scowl. Ms Grinch also lacks communication skills. No eye contact, until it came time for the credit card machine to display a rating for service. The customer can choose from three options. A red frown face, a yellow face, and a green face with a smile. The customer gets to choose! Ms Grinch decided she was going to choose for me, reached over the machine and hit the green face with a smile, ultimately giving herself a good rating. She was the most rude clerk I have ever met and would have clicked on the red frown face. Ms Grinch should be placed in the back, moving around boxes or something that does not require her to deal with customers. Bring back the smiley lady with the dark hair. Not going back here. I will go out of my way next time to go to a place where they actually take the time to thank you for coming in. Retire already, Ms. Grinch!
- BSBrittney SageMar 25, 20245.0UPDATE: They fired the mail lady and everything is fine and working so much better now. Absolutely crap. For the past 3 years our normal mail LADY has given us neighbors mail, hoarded our mail, mail isn’t being delivered and packages not being delivered and deemed “lost” when it shows it never left the office. The manager is never there and if she is she doesn’t actually do anything but sit at her desk. The mail carrier needs to be fired. The only time I actually receive mail and get my packages is when we have a substitute carrier. I have called and complained to several offices and emails and nothing is being done. Unfortunately I have to continue to get my mail through them but I will go to hemlock to mail or send packages!!
