  I came to drop off a few package and I was assisted by Billy who helped me choose the appropriate mailing box and explained the pricing. This USPS location is my favorite as the employees are always helpful, respectful and kind.

  Postal Clerk, Hamzah located at USPS 600 FRANKLIN AVE GARDEN CITY, NY 11530-5756 has stolen or lost my package and I am requesting a thorough investigation along with compensation for the items and shipping charges. On Saturday, May 24, 2025, I received notification from Sender that my package was delivered to and handed directly to Hamzah, Postal Clerk, at the front receptionist/clerk customer service desk. Today, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, I went to USPS located at 600 FRANKLIN AVE GARDEN CITY, NY to pick up mail and package from PO Box. Upon checking my PO BOX 447 or Unit 447, there was no yellow notice of package available for pickup. I went to the front receptionist or clerks desk to retrieve delivered package from the Postal Clerk. The Postal Clerk who was at the front receptionist/clerk desk just so happened to be Hamzah, the same Postal Clerk who accepted and signed for my package on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12:14 PM. I informed Hamzah, Postal Clerk, that I was there to pick up my package that was delivered on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12:14 PM EST. I also informed Hamzah, Postal Clerk, that he was the actual Postal Clerk who received and signed for my package. I also informed Hamzah that the yellow delivery notice for the package was missing from my PO Box. Hamzah, Postal Clerk, disrespectfully dismissed me stating that “You're not getting your package, it is lost, I don't know what to tell you” and instructed me to leave the post office. 2 outstanding professional Postal Clerks, Elise and Billy, were the only 2 USPS employees who completely stopped what they were doing to find the package that Hamzah, Postal Clerk, had stolen or lost. No one at the USPS Garden City Post Office located at 600 FRANKLIN AVE, GARDEN CITY, NY 11530 is able to locate the package that Hamzah, Postal Clerk, signed for on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12:14 PM EST. Elise and Billy deserve all the recognition from Corporate as well a bonus and raise for always going above and beyond and truly serving their fellow man and woman. Elise and Billy should be in leadership roles as they are true professionals and honestly are the only ones who know what they are doing. The Garden City Office would collapse without Elise and Billy. The Postmaster offered absolutely no solution and continuously apologized and made excuses for Hamzah, Postal Clerk. The Postmaster confirmed that Hamzah, Postal Clerk, does indeed remember receiving the package but has zero clue of what he did with the package after providing his signature and signing for it. All of this is recorded by the camera at USPS Garden City Post Office located at 600 FRANKLIN AVE, GARDEN CITY, NY 11530

  I had a passport appointment at 10am. Got there at 9:30am. At 10:00 Dee Dee started to take care of me. I didn’t know I had to fill out an extra form so she gave it to me. The appointment is for 15’ Around 10:10 a couple with 2 kids showed up, Dee Dee said to me are you finish? Because if you are not I will take care of these people. I said to her no you are not. I waited here for my appointment and my appointment is not over. So at that point she had and attitude. I told her I wanted to talk to the Postmaster so she went to get the Postmaster and Chang who is the supervisor showed up I said I want to talk to the Postmaster I know all of them I had been living in Garden City for 26 years. Neither Dee Dee or Chang wanted to call the Postmaster. I kept telling Chang I want to talk to the Postmaster and he refused to call the Postmaster. Chang kept saying you have to tell me what is this about it. I told him I want to place a complaint about Dee Dee. He made me repeat it about 3 times so he could call the Postmaster. He refused to do it so I left. In the past a substitute mailman carrier kept going thru my bushes and Chang thinks that he can tell people you can’t talk to the Postmaster. So it was the same situation with Chang. At that time finally I talked to the Postmaster Joe Vandercobart and he didn’t do anything. I called Consumers Affairs. After I talked to Consumer’s Affairs they did something about it because Consumer’s Affairs got involved and they will never ever are aloud to go thru the bushes. Then today I called Consumer’s Affairs. The only way anything is done in Garden City Post Office is if you call Consumer’s Affairs and complaint about them. Chang and Dee Dee should not be dealing with customers if that’s the way they treat people. I am sure they would not like if anybody would treat them like that. What Dee Dee and Chang did to me is so wrong in so many levels. Signed Dr. Sandra Johnson

  The worst place ever! Everyone there is unfriendly. Especially liz,Michelle and corey(I think that's her name). My brother and I made a passport appointment at 3:00PM and we got a little bit lost trying to find the place,but we arrived at 3:03PM,got on line and when we arrived there wasn't that much people on line. And the worker there called Liz told us that she only had time for one of us. Only because of 3 minutes! We told her we needed the passport because we were going to travel and that we got a little bit lost on the way to the post office. She was so unfriendly that it's shocking! We had all our papers filled and it would only have taken 6 minutes for her to attend both of us. My brother got his appointment but I didn't. She told us she had another person at 3:30PM and 3 persons arrived late at 3:45PM for that appointment and the other one called Corey attended them when she too said that passports end at 4PM and that we were late at 3:03PM. Are you kidding me? Who denies service for 3 minutes. We asked to speak to the supervisor and they told us that he/she had a phone conference but it was a lie,there wasn't a supervisor only a manager as rude as the rest called Michelle (I believe). Also the other woman called Liz said: ' Does anyone here understand what I am saying? Our first language is Spanish. Isn't that discrimination? I had to go to another USPS and they were a lot friendlier and I had my passport appointment there and told us that they have heard lots of complaints at USPS at garden city. If you have a passport appointment don't go there! It's a horrible place! Also one of the employees was laughing.
