  UPS store on merrick rd in Freeport is so convenient to send packages or do Amazon returns. Xavier was amazing and so personal . He went out of his way to help me. Thanks to this sweet young man my package was sent and he saved me money. Was so sweet!!

  The team at this UPS store went above and beyond to ensure I got the best service, even though to my dismay, I showed up 5 minutes before closing with 8 packages all going to different locations. The staff was kind enough to stay an extra 20 minutes after closing to process my shipments, all while making me feel incredibly welcomed and wanted there, despite me being such an inconvenience. I am extremely grateful. What they don’t know, was that all 8 packages were being sent on behalf of a dear friend, as her final request before passing just a few days later, and the kindness I received here during such a difficult time somehow soothed an aching heart. Thank you for your compassion and kindness, even when you don’t know how much someone needs it.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Always a great experience at this UPS. The manager is so helpful, respectful, and patient. I always leave in a better mood because of him, he’s just a really nice person to be around, very good energy. Whenever I go in there, I’ve piled up like 50 (lol) Amazon returns, so I go in feeling a little nervous cuz I know it’s a lot, and he never makes me feel bad. He always helps with a smile on his face and chats with me. I read through some of the 1 star reviews and saw one that commented on his “sarcasm”… from what I see, these people clearly are overreacting and misunderstanding. He is very personable and real/honest when he speaks, in a laid back and friendly manner. People who take him as sarcastic are maybe just looking for ways to twist everything someone says into something negative. Anyway…. I observe a lot and all I see when I go there is him going above and beyond to help every single customer. People coming in unprepared without even having their packages taped up, people coming back realizing they gave the wrong Amazon return (lol) and he kindly goes above and beyond to help them when he probably doesn’t have to. The other staff is nice also.

  The guy working the register 1/21/26 at 12:30 pm. I witness him be very sarcastic and rude to a customer saying “it’s not a big deal life goes on”….this is not the proper approach for someone who is letting you know the self service machine wasn’t properly restocked with paper. The help shouldn’t be sarcastic to anyone. Not a good look for UPS. Despite the reply saying, “there was a long line” there 3 people in front of me and one behind. Self service is to not wait in line so really not a good look. The girl that works there is always nice and friendly.
