- RLRich LangMay 23, 20235.0The women that work in the office are great. Always super helpful and courteous. Anytime I’ve needed anything they have gone above and beyond to help. The office is always clean and fully stocked with shipping supplies and mailing needs. Its not all bubbles and glitter though, our mail person is a much older man who I would say has a bit of a hard time handling the job. As it’s not his fault he is older perhaps being on the truck isn’t the best place for him. Thrown packages, struggles lifting, and dropped boxes are fairly regular occurrences. One particular time I actually confronted him was when he dropped a 24 pack of Red Bull cans from waist height onto the ground. He laughed and said yeah, that was heavy. Overall he’s a super nice guy everyone at the Fonda Post Office are great, its a hard job and they handle the volume efficiently and expeditiously.

I had an issue with a package going to a different address and Connie had the issue fixed immediately. Amazon also decides they need to ship most packages through USPS when it should be FedEx, UPS, or their own vehicles especially with large packages. I had a few large packages coming today from Amazon and didn’t realize they sent them to my local post office. If they were to load all my packages they wouldn’t have been able to fit anymore. So I did go pick them up and Connie loaded everything for me. Please be patient with them around this time of year!! They are working many hours to make all of you happy!
