  Do not use them to help you move. I am 71 years old and I ended up doing most of the work. One guy was on his phone most of the time and the other was just very lazy. Total ripoff cost me $300.

  My Dad is a disabled veteran and he requested a couple people two help move his house to a new house. My husband, brother and I are disabled and needed strong people to lift the heavy items. One guy was a no show and the other showed up saying it was too cold. We live in NY for goodness sake, it is always cold in the winter. Now my family has to figure out a new plan for moving. If my Father gave you guys money for this move he better get it back. Thanks for the help!!

  We requested 2 laborers to come to a job site. They said they would “call to confirm “ (not sure what needed to be confirmed as we already had requested them) ... never showed up. Not even a call to advise of such. Tried to call ..no answer. No call back. Poor customer service. No follow thru. Left us hanging!! That’s why I prefer Labor Ready.

  I don’t like posting bad reviews, however my experience with this office has been very negative. When I signed up for a job, I chose to receive payment via check, and gave my addresss to the receptionist. After it had been 1 week since the job and no check had arrived, I called the office to inquire. After calling every day of the week and leaving messages, I had to go through the headquarters and have them route me back to elmira to get someone on the phone. This person told me that they had put my money on a pay card, one I had never received (some random card somewhere), and said they would send it in the mail. After ANOTHER week, this check had not arrived, so after calling multiple times and a half hour on hold, they told me my check had been sent to the entirely wrong town. So somehow they took down my address wrong. I have been out multiple hundreds of dollars for over half a month due to this disorganization, and will not be using people ready again.
