- VVVivaciousVirgONov 25, 20251.0Closed temporarily, huh!? Absolutely NO surprise there! Look, I have stood by and watched the postal service dip in the sewers since 2020 and it's alarming! I have also witnessed a myraid of violations from workers on these routes. I am talking everything from tossing packages on steps to taking all day and part of the evening to deliver the mail. And get this, some of them are even SMOKING CIGARETTES IN THEIR TRUCKS WHILE DRIVING AND DELIVERING OUR MAIL! Playing music as though they're riding in a party bus isn't unheard of either. It's slum service with this Post Office now and I'm constantly beside myself regarding the great fall! This post-COVID postal service has always come off as intentional, imo, to make our lives more difficult than usual. Again, not the least bit surprised that it's closed.

- TITajmara IsmailApr 8, 20211.0This place does not deliver mail even if your address is on the mail. I had 2 important packages returned to sender. When I called they said because the name isn’t on my mailbox. WTH. The address is on my mailbox. The rude postman put a label on my mailbox saying no name no mail. I put name label on mailbox that got blown off by the wind and the postman argued with me saying it didn’t blow off. I called post office again regarding this entire issue. It’s obvious they absolutely don’t care at all. My neighbor also never gets her mail either she says. This is the absolute worst post office I’ve ever seen. Actually I’ve never experienced anything like this anywhere I’ve lived. The items that were returned were for my business also. They don’t enforce this so called policy all over Elmira,NY. My in laws live a couple blocks over and have the exact same postman and have only lived here a year. They don’t have to put names on mailbox. My other in laws live in Elmira and don’t have to also. This place is the absolute WORST POST OFFICE ever. If there were no stars I’d give them that.
