- CHCordelia HDec 13, 20251.0Never have I ever had such a horrible experiences with delivery service as I do with our carrier for Dundee/Tyrone. Every single time I am waiting on certified mail to deliver, after I rearrange my entire day to be here to sign for it, I get an email message that says “we could not access the delivery location to deliver your package” which is absolutely ridiculous. Irregardless of summer or fall or winter. And no matter who I call, nothing is ever done about it. Some of this mail has been expected for weeks and is important, yet here I am again, STILL waiting, even though she had no issues delivery junk usps mail yesterday in the snow. It’s like it’s a hardship to get out of the mail truck to deliver something that needs a signature. Last time, I had to go to the main office to sign for it.

- CSchristine shortOct 21, 20251.0Where do I start? On my first visit to the Dundee NY post office I had to struggle to open two heavy glass doors. (I use a walker.) When I asked if it would do any good to put in a request for automatic doors, the young female clerk just giggled. Apparently my disability amused her. Another time, a much older female clerk had absolutely no affect and absolutely refused to engage my attempts at small talk (as is her right, but it was like dealing with a rundown robot). More to the point, in July at least two pieces of first class mail failed to be delivered to me; this month, there appears to be a third missing piece of first class mail. Two different clerks told me my missing pieces from July were surely torn up by a sorting machine. My letter carrier told me the current piece of mail that is missing could take up to 14 days to reach me from Saratoga Springs (that's at odds with AI's info). I am moving soon, but I just wanted to report that this is the worse experience I have had with a Post Office (at least in Brooklyn years ago the lines were always long but my mail never went missing).
