- JHJZ HoldenMar 30, 20241.0Rude. They close at 12:30pm on Saturdays. I arrived at 12:20pm and apologized for arriving so close to closing but I had three letters that had to go out certified mail. There was a pony tail wearing fellow behind the counter who chewed me out, said he was not getting paid, and told me to hurry up and write the labels. Seven minutes later a woman came in - a local person - and the pony-tail wearer could not have been sweeter. She had a key but asked him to get her mail and he said he’d do it right away.. By my watch I was back in my car by 12:33. Life has taught me that when people need to humiliate others, put them down in order to elevate themselves, they despise themselves, and there is a the big, black hole inside them that can never be filled. Not my problem. Rudeness is unacceptable period. If I’d been a tall strapping man, he would not have dared.

- G0Gaming 0virapt0rSep 3, 20201.0I recently moved to Cooperstown and thankfully this is the only place I have received such horribly rude service every time. Don't expect any common courtesy here. My whole transaction two other employees behind the counter (im assuming, as one was dressed in plain clothes and not wearing a mask) did not take their eyes off their phones unless it was to briefly look up and stare without a single hello, how are you, have a good day....nothing. I suggest driving to Milford post office if possible. One positive is I have never had a problem with the mail delivery just the people who work in the post office.
