  Very poor service. Severely cold winter is a good excuse not to consistently deliver our mail. The Tara Coummunity has not reliably received their mail since December. The U. S. post office motto used to be "neither rain, snow or sleet would keep us from delivering the mail." That slogan is long gone.

  My name is Frank Rizzo. I live at Mayfair Gardens in Commack. I usually don’t rate government agencies because I know they are usually understaffed. I called the Commack Post Office in Commack asking (Todd) very kindly to hold my mail because my mother passed away overseas and I’m traveling there until the 22nd. On top of the total undeniable grief and pain I’m experiencing, Todd hung-up on me before I was finished with my request. Not even the mention of traveling for my mom’s funeral services 2000 miles away could keep this person on the phone. So I called back like a brave soldier and he yelled at me before I could even ask, “how should I obtain my mail when I get back?” Yes, he even more angrily hung-up before I asked that crucial question. I want to make a distinction here; my post office mailman is extremely pleasant and I have never had anything but nice things to say about him. But I lost his name. If the mail carrier for Mayfair Gardens building 6 gets this message, you know me sir. I’m always complaining about my $200,000+ in hospital bills from Stony Brook hospital and I am disabled. My name is Frank. I have to attend my mother’s untimely services in Europe and I will return on the 22nd. I will tip you upon my return. I’m sorry I have to request “holding my mail” this way but your agent Tom or Todd will not stay on the phone with me for less than one minute. Thank you to whomever received this and I’m disabled so it makes it even more difficult. But I would really appreciate if there is a supervisor or worker who isn’t going to hang-up on me 2Xs for being kind and gracious with my request, please respond to this message and let me know how to acquire my mail when I’m back on January 22nd. Thank you so much!

  Great experience in getting the chance to mail a Package to a loved one. Would use them over and over again. However the Automated system does not recognize certain commands to allow me to speak to someone about prices for mailing a package.

  How are you a post office and dont have priority shipping envelopes. UPS it is.
