Hands down the WORST postal service I have been to. They are highly inconsistent with delivering mail and when you go there during the 2 days of the week you can go to pick up your mail it takes up to an hour waiting on line. That is if there is even people behind the counter. I went there today and there was no one to be seen in the 40 minutes that I was waiting. Absolutely terrible service 0/10.

I would like to make a formal complaint and everyone has giving me the run around. The bushwick location that lost my package and then just returned it to the sender after lying to me saying the package was at lost and found in Georgia. How can anyone trust this location or even USPS after you essentially stole and held my package until it was time to return it to sender. This screams malpractice and scamming. Since when does the post office hold your package and conveniently can’t find it until they sent it back. I was lied to bottom line. The bushwick office should be investigated.

For years I get the mail with someone with my same building number, but 5 blocks away; The street names are not even spelled similarly at all. The officer manager is never there to be found. I've been waiting two months for mail that has not been delivered. I wonder if it was delivered elsewhere! Thursday March 19, 2026, I waited online over an hour, just to buy some post stamps. Most of the workers from that office behave and treat you as if you were there to take their pay check. This office is the worst

Unfortunately the service is so so slow, seems understaffed, and I blame absolutely none of the staff for it - clearly this is a failure of our current federal government administration, and the neighborhood is being underserved. I would recommend a sign by the door that tells people you will not have their package if it hasn’t been a certain amount of time since the attempted delivery - regardless of what the website says. This way people would not wait a long time in line when they can’t be helped. Other than that I just want to shout out to the staff I interacted with a few times, they’re great and clearly dealing with a lot, and I saw them deal with so many angry and rude people for stuff not really in their control. Please remember guys that it’s not their fault at the windows when your package isn’t there… be nice :)

Worst business in all of NYC period. Minus 100 stars! For every package they leave an “attempted delivery note” meanwhile I’m home when they come and can physically see they don’t even ring the bell and don’t even possess any package, literally the definition of a scam! Furthermore, I go stand in line at the post office a few days later with my missed delivery note for !! 30+ min !! for the person just to say “Oh sorry your package is in the back but it’s not ready yet, come back tomorrow again!” Wait what?? First of all why give me a “come pick up your package”-note if I can’t even receive it when I come, and second of all do your freaking job instead of wasting people’s valuable time and money! Just unbelievable!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Separate matter: Last year all my financial related letters would never show up, and one replacement credit card was even attempted used at Best Buy for $1200 randomly. I filed a case with the mail crime agency and guess what, a few months later a good portion of the missing checks and other finance related letters magically show up! Make what you want of that… I do believe in government run services in general, but if they should abolish one it’s the USPS!
