Was returning some Sodastream cylinders in a prepaid package that can be dropped off at any USPS location and I had dropped off at this location in the past, waited on line for 20 minutes, when I got to window the woman asked me what my zip code is, I told her 11218, and she told me I needed to go to my zip code’s post office on McDonald Ave., which is further away from me, and when I mentioned that I’ve dropped them off at this location before, both of the women working there started yelling at me about “hazmat” and a memo that they could no longer accept for other zip codes. Unreal! 🤬

So far, I had good experience with people working here. However, today I had to drop off a small package, it was not clear where to do it, so a kind person in the line advised me to ask the clerk. I waited until the clerk finished working with the previous customer, and thought I would ask this 15 second question. I was wrong. I was first ignored by the clerk, told to stand in line, the next person intervened and asked to answer me on my behalf. The the clerk asked what's my zip code and informed that I'm supposed to use the post office almost a mile away even though I live two blocks from this one. None of it made sense. I understand that customer service is a stressful job, I've worked in customer service for years, but this was just plain dismissive and rude for no reason.

I dread coming to this post office. There is one clerk who will find something wrong with your package or letter no matter what. It is astounding. I’ve never been corrected or reprimanded so much. Every SINGLE time. It prolongs and over complicates the process for no reason.

The woman with the ponytail is so rude and condescending and just straight up disrespectful to the point that I just had to leave with unfinished business and go to another post office! Please believe all the other reviews - horrible treatment of other human beings for absolutely no reason :-(

Never has anything in stock, so you have to order online. Always a mess bc they’re so understaffed. They try to make u pay out of pocket for prepaid mail which is …Suspicious behavior… USPS needs to staff this very busy location better so that the employees can do their jobs with ease. I blame the system, not the workers, but yea Im happy to be moving soon. Damnnear every time I go in it seems like this place a whole new branch. Ridiculous. Continually hurts my business.
