Today, I was scheduled to receive a package and went downstairs ahead of the expected delivery time to ensure I could receive it directly. However, when I checked the tracking status, it showed the package as “delivered,” which is completely inaccurate. I was present the entire time, and no delivery attempt was made.This is not an isolated incident. On a previous occasion, even with a signature required package, the same false “delivered” status was reported, and I was forced to pay nearly $100 to have it re delivered. I have also resorted to having packages sent to a relative’s home out of concern that they will be left outside the building or incorrectly marked as delivered while I am home.This situation is unacceptable, and it has become a recurring problem specifically with this branch. The Postmaster needs to address this matter immediately and take full responsibility for ensuring accurate deliveries and honest reporting. I expect this issue to be investigated and resolved promptly. Whenever I put in a claim to be reimbursed they reject it and never reply this is unacceptable.

PO Box folks, bring your 2 forms of identification, as well as your filled out PS Form 1093 Application. Print it at Squarral Cafe across Atlantic Ave if you don’t have a printer at home. Overall, an efficient and easy experience at the post office. I witnessed pleasant interactions and a patient line of customers.
