The drop off box is broken, and absolutely no one will come to the door to take your package or mail - no matter how long you knock. Waste of a space. Don’t go here if you actually want to mail something.

- EPEmily PrestonAug 20, 20161.0After using this kiosk and its receptacles, I have come to the conclusions: 1. Do not expect your tracking to update for a minimum (if not longer) of 24-48 hours (even though a sign says the receptacles are emptied twice daily). 2. There is maybe a 20% chance your package arrives on time to its recipient regardless of what sort of postage you buy. 3. There is a higher than normal chance your tracking will never work, and item/s never arrive to final destination. This location is responsible for losing 2 packages of mine (oddly enough, both mailed 4 business days apart). My tracking never updated nor did my recipients received. If for some reason they do receive, it will be many weeks late. 5+ residents in my building have confirmed 1 & 2 above, and another resident also confirmed number 3. This self-service center is absolutely untrustworthy with your mail and packages. If you must buy labels here, then DO NOT USE THE RECEPTACLES IN THE SPACE. If you live or work in Dumbo, walk 10 min south up Washington to the 271 Cadman USPS location. I did this and my tracking updated within 12 hours and the staff was helpful. Don't become victim to the same frustration I've felt from this USPS center!
- WCWendy ChanMar 13, 20162.0Go between 12pm-3pm if you have a large parcel, bins are filled up quickly. Smaller mail items can be placed in the blue mail box right outside the post office. Beware, there is no staff here if you have media mail but there is a larger post office at Camden plaza. Ps that one is a bit disorganized, watch out for line skippers.
