I am a regular customer at “SHIRLEY A CHISHOLM” post office, 1915 Fulton Street as I work nearby. I think this is the worst post office that I have visited. How could this be a government agency that is closed for lunch, people need to wait outside for a whole hour because the post office is closed for lunch. Many elderly and old people use this post office, and it is not fair for them to wait outside an hour to get their services in this heat. I had never heard of this, and this needs to be reported. The young workers are very rude to people, they are not friendly at all, they have no manners, all the time a with a bad mood. We need to wait a hour to be served. I don't see any other post offices doing this. The post office schedule doesn’t say that this post office will be closed for lunch. Managers there do as they wish and this is not right, I understand that we are all entitled to lunch but we can take turns getting our lunch as most other public offices do. Higher up need to hire friendly staff that greet their customers with value and satisfaction (: and this closing for lunch need to be stop

Why the staff at this location are hateful, bitter & are rude for no reason is beyond me.
One woman insisted a man lift his service dog up to the counter so she could see its tags, AFTER he kindly told her it was a service dog. Her response? "LET ME SEE!"
Thank goodness the man was agile enough to lift the dog. Just rude for no reason.
Staff argues loudly with customers & when they leave, talk negatively about them, loudly, to fellow staff.
Today, there's a staff member in the front snapping at people to stand behind an invisible line. Why be rude about it? Kindness goes a long way.
They never have supplies (boxes, envelopes, tape, pens). And heaven forbid you ask for some. I've been yelled at for asking, "They're over there!" Well, no they aren't, that's why am asking.
I once ask for a medium sized boxed and the woman sighed so loudly & aggressively, I thought she was having a medical emergency.
PLEASE get kinder staff.
