One absurd, time-wasting experience after the next. At least they're consistent.

This post office normally has about 2 postal employees working the customer desk at a time causing unnecessary delays/lines. Recently I purchased a certified mail delivery to the EEOC that was time sensitive 15 days unfortunately that was last month so now my case is definitely dismissed! The address on the receipt was only a zip code and yet it was still delivered to some business in that zip code to a mail room? I filed a complaint and a person who identified themselves as supervisor Maurice called me to inquire but could not offer any further solutions to my problem and I stopped by the office and was told he stepped out. My next step is the usps office of the consumer advocate. This time I sent it FedEx and had to spend 18 dollars. 12/31 update : I complained to two elected officials office about my experience and usps explained that the way certified mail delivery is written on the receipt is correct in my situation but usps told this to the elected official not me when I complained? So I ran around believing my mail was lost for nothing. Now my question is did my letter make it in time to the appropriate agent? Customer service is key to avoiding these misunderstandings.

This post office routinely doesnt deliver packages - will send say they “tried delivering, left note and no one was there”. No notes are left, because they never attempted delivery. This is happening to all residents of my building in Bed Stuy. We then have to figure this out ourselves and go in person to this location where lo and behold, the packages are there. Its beyond incompetent and no one does anything about it despite formal complaints to supervisor of this branch

I shipped an item to a buyer, the item was returned to sender due to it not having an apartment number, the item was then supposed to be available for pickup on 10/9/25. There was no movement on the item and it says awaiting delivery because it was not scanned. I’ve been to this post office several times trying to pick up my package and it is now lost. I have never had this issue happen before. I tried speaking to a supervisor and they all say that the supervisors don’t do their job and refuse to come and that I should come back another day. I came back another day and waited an hour and she still didn’t come. This is beyond unprofessional and has cost me time and money. I had to refund the buyer and lost out on $70 because of this mistake on their end that they refuse to rectify. I’ve never had a USPS have a lack of care, concern and consideration for their customer base like this location.
