- JMJack MayerJan 2, 20261.0Every time I come to this post office the employees are very rude and this line as you can see wraps around they do not have the staff and they do not offer a drop off. And expect you to wait an hour in line. There has been cases where certain employees allow a drop off and it’s been very helpful for pre-stamped items but it’s never consistent.

Yes there are many negative reviews here but you have to think about all the negative stuff the staff has to put up with I don’t blame them for being grumpy. They should have a drop box for prepaid packages they did before the pandemic. Occasionally they have the bin out and you can just throw your prepaid packages in there. I think the reason they took the drop box away is because people were not properly paying the correct amount for postage.. It’s one thing to do a flat rate envelope which doesn’t require you to weigh your package. I’m sure the post office lost a lot of money because of improperly weighing items. One thing I hope they install soon is a kiosk to print out QR code labels I saw this in greenpoint and it makes the line go quick! Don’t hate on this post office! They let me in a few minutes before closing time and I appreciate that very much!!

Do better because the employees suck

One guy does this occasionally but the employees are not given proper guidance to do this more frequently.
