Today I’ve had the worst customer service experience in all my years of being. I went to utilize their printing services as it is advertised. I emailed the file to the designated email ahead of time and kindly asked the young man if he could help me with the printing. He responded with “wait”. Ok, so I complied with the order and I stood away from traffic and kindly waited. This young man proceeded to start scanning packages (from a huge pile of what I presume are Amazon returns) and filling it into a box. I thought to myself: “perhaps he will get to me when he’s done with this box”. Wrong. He proceeded to fill a second box. Then he’s on to the third. Keep in mind that at this point I’ve been waiting for around 10 minutes. For a normal person this process probably would’ve taken 20 minutes. But at the rate he was going, I’d estimate 30 to 40 minutes. There was no way this man was going to make me wait 40 minutes to print out a file that would’ve taken him 2 minutes right? Wrong again. As he was setting up the third box, I kindly asked him if he can get to me now. He ignored me. I then asked him why he was ignoring me, and he responded with “I’m doing this right now”. Now I don’t know if he’s just being difficult because he’s generally a difficult person, or if he genuinely thinks his process is the most efficient use of time for either of us. For his sake I hope the former is true. Otherwise his generation is more cooked than I had originally anticipated.
