This place truly upset me today. I highly recommend that this location be looked into for their lack of professionalism and poor management of passport services. I booked my passport appointment weeks in advance and even took off work to make it. When my partner and I arrived for our scheduled appointment, we were told that the employee who handles passport services was not in. We were also informed that this is a “pattern” and that she frequently does not show up. That is completely unacceptable for a service that requires appointments and advance planning. The woman behind the counter was extremely nonchalant and dismissive. She told us we would have to go somewhere else because they were not taking appointments since the passport employee didn’t come in. When I politely asked if they could help us secure a same-day appointment at another location considering the inconvenience was on their end she simply told us to “go to the city” and began mumbling with a rude attitude. I then asked for a supervisor. A man came out and said he would call another location and text the passport employee to come in. While on the phone, he allegedly asked another post office if they could take us and claimed they said no. He then told us we would have to reschedule entirely, despite the issue being their fault. He also stated that we had received a cancellation notice, which is completely false. We never received any call, email, or notification about a cancellation. Toward the end, he became dismissive and visibly irritated when I stated I would be reporting this matter. He walked away abruptly instead of resolving the issue. This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience, especially for a time-sensitive and important service like passports. I hope management takes accountability and improves how appointments and customer service are handled at this location

This is the worst post office I’ve been to. No one is ever available to help. No one is ever working the customer service desks. It doesn’t matter what time of day you visit, you’re waiting minimally 40 minutes.

No words to describe this—shameful. It’s taking 7 days for a package to move from a New York facility to the Bronx. When it finally showed out for delivery today, at the last minute they blamed weather conditions. Seriously—what weather conditions in the Bronx are stopping the post office from delivering? Schools are open, toddlers are going to school, but the post office can’t deliver a package on the scheduled day? This is a luxury way of working with zero accountability.
