Good afternoon! If I could give this location zero stars I would. I was assisted by a post office representative by the name of Jenny. There were several negative interactions that I noticed between her and other customers as I waited online. However, when it was my turn, her affect remained the same. It is very clear that she appears to be unhappy about her job or something that is going on in her life. As unfortunate as that may be, it does not give this post office representative permission to have a negative attitude with the customers in the establishment. In addition to her negative affect she works under the assumption that everyone coming into the post office is knowledgeable about all things mail/post related. This is not the case. I’m sure most people would assume so. I was mailing something internationally. As I waited online, I looked to see if the international documentation, the customs document, was available however there was no information nor documentation in the lobby of the post office. So upon waiting 25 minutes on the line, I then was given a document that I needed to complete prior to coming to her window. Again, her approach being negative and her tone being condescending as though I knew what document needed to be filled out prior to me coming to her window; I did not. I asked if I would be able to come back to her window upon completing the document And she gestured yes. This seemed to be the only positive interaction with one another. I completed the documentation and came back to her window. She proceeded to doing all of the steps that must be done. This took about five minutes, it took a little longer because she decided to move packages from her workstation area to a different area taking additional time from my time with her. This was unnecessary and unprofessional because not only was the establishment closing but the line was extremely long. Jenny proceeded to inform me after the five minutes of typing information into the computer that I would not be able to send the chocolates in my package. This is not information that I am privy to, and she obviously was not privy as well, because if she was, she would have noted it immediately. Upon looking at the document I’d filled out naming there was chocolate in the package. This was a total of about 12 minutes, wasted that could’ve been used to assist myself and other customers. This was a very negative encounter and unprofessional encounter with a customer service person from this particular post office. While I’m sure no one is going to lose their job over this review I would like to bring it to the attention of those in charge of this establishment and for those who would like to come here for service that this particular customer service post office representative, Jenny, was highly unprofessional. If you would like to come to this post office and receive adequate service, maybe look for someone else other than Jenny and or make sure you read every single piece of information and become an expert at mailing packages or parcels of mail. Moreover, it is clear not every staff member is well equipped with the training and information to do their job.
Lastly, because the post office was closing, she told me that she would not be able to help me because it was going to take her 10 minutes again. This was after she taken 12 minutes to type information the first time around and to put away packages that she did not need to put away. She told me I would need to come back again on Monday. I will not be coming back to this location on Monday in fact, I will find a different post office. Good luck to those who live close and would like to receive service here. Be sure that you’re the connoisseur in all things mail related because you can’t guarantee that coming to this particular location you will have an expert in mail at the window. Very disappointing and while Jenny apologized. Apologies don’t rectify incompetence and unprofessionalism.

This gentleman at the window was very polite and able to resolve issues even at closing time while everyone wants to go home. Very ethical and professional. He seems to be the youngest at the window.

Clerk 04, didn’t catch her name, at the East Tremont by Philip Ave. Post Office was really rude to me and my husband. He was trying to say good morning and asking her how she was doing three times and ignored him. Clerk 04 just keep going through what she had to do to help me mail my package. It’s really upsetting to be treated like that, especially during the holidays. But what should I expect, most of the Postal workers are unpleasant most of the time. I wouldn’t recommend going here if this is how they are all the time.

There is an older Lady in window #2 who is very rude. She’s also had issue’s in the pass. She shouldn’t be talking to people like a child and treating people the way she does. I also wrote a complaint and gave it to the manager.
