    The reviews are in: this place is trash. It’s dirty, understaffed, not appropriately set up for lines of waiting patrons, and you’ll be pressed to find a time where it takes less than 15 minutes to make it through the line.

    I was reading all of the bad reviews, and I’m not going to disagree with them. I just haven’t had a bad experience yet. I agree with the long wait though. I usually use the self service kiosk because of this. I overheard one employee at the window say there is a shortage of workers. I do think that’s believable because of the large amount of job cuts this year, across the country. Especially federal workers.

    If zero stars were possible simply for this package issue I keep having than I would. Some of the package delivery people out of this station are absolutely horrible. For some reason- medium to large packages are marked as not delivered because the delivery person claims their was no access to the address cause the “business” is closed- my address is not a business it’s a private residence. My latest package- they lied and claimed I requested that the package be held at the post office when they never made an attempt to deliver. The tracking never even should that it was out for delivery. It went from arrived at usps facility to held at post office at customer’s request. Complete lie. And because of the carrier’s lie I’m delayed in getting my mail. This is ridiculous. Why not just say delivery was delayed , why lie and say I requested something I didn’t?? And on top of that after walking to the post office come to find out- it’s not there!! Because the carrier lied they couldn’t change the tracking to say the package was now in fact out for delivery. So then I made a trip for no reason all because the carrier lied and said I requested it be held at the post office because they probably got back around here later than they expected and were just too lazy to drop the package- so instead of leaving the tracking where it was they lied said it was at the post office then put it back for delivery to actually be attempted for the FIRST TIME. So they made me waste my time as well as delay my mail. And they never answer the phone. So I’m leaving the review here and MAYBE something will change. Doubt it.

    I been going to this post office since I was one year old with my family and mail delivery was bad back then too. Recently we got a new mail person and station manger as things were even better and with our new mail people; but... Recently mail has been not delivered, missing, or giving to the building next door at Tideways at 3363 Sedgwick Ave. I spoke with mail agents who say the route is too long and now split up between 4 people. I have not gotten my mail in a month and I need my bills to keep records for HRA and UIB Unemployment as I am now on public assistance being SLD Learning Disabled and can't find work that works for a person with my version of SLD Learning Disabilities as many feel my one version Dyslexia cause due harm as reading is a little slower for me and everyone wants to move fast not fully caring where things go in general. I love the people in the postoffice, but we need people knowing that an Irish last name is not the same as a Spanish last name. Also a 4 and a 6 are not the same as we get Tideways too.. Please no retaliation as it just then tells me that someone hates me for no reason cause I found some ex coworkers work at this location and I know one would not do this to me as I really didn't get to know the others.. I will update after things change, but for now its been a month with no mail..
