USPS (United States Postal Service) employees, including postal clerks, are generally required to visibly display their official photo identification, like Form 4098-F, during duty hours, which includes their name, for customer service and security, though specific rules balance this , sometimes allowing employee numbers for complaints.I beleive her name is Dee ? What Qualifies for media mail (Including Transcripts/Manuscripts): Manuscripts: Handwritten, typed, or photocopied manuscripts for books, periodicals, and music. The employee at brightwaters post office made a Libel /Slander statement my envelope was not media mail. she made a spectacle and took copies of my envelope ,she seemed emotional exhaustion and Angry ,Her manager refused to give me her name and display her employees badge the employee went to the back room to not show herself because she was wrong, I had the envelope inspected at another post office The postmaster of the other post officd inspected and concluded it was under the Post office mddia regulations of media mail. Sandy the manager allowed her employee to slander me and upset my Autistic son includinv false allegation , beware of this employee you cannot miss her she has the look of anger when you go to her , she is European disent it is ,very important google keeps this review for the protection for other customers. This review has complete merit with a postal inspector verifying my envelope was media mail....Beware of this employee at the brightwaters you will notice her Choppy snappy attitude and apperence. I believe her name is Dee ?

I lived in Brightwaters for over 15 years and was once “ Brow beaten” by Dee for bringing in about 10 tiny PRE PAID packages and was told “ You know there is a form you should fill out for multiple packages” I was like Dee, it took you about 2 minutes to scan every one…. Yes a little less attitude and some niceness would be appreciated.

I’ve been a customer at the Brightwaters Post office for 8 years now, and unfortunately, the service quality has been consistently poor when Dee is working. I’m not exaggerating when I say EVERY TIME Dee is the representative, I’ve encountered extremely short and terse responses from her even with a simple “hello, how are you”, I’m always met with an unwelcoming attitude, and interactions that make me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism creates an uncomfortable atmosphere that makes even simple postal transactions unpleasant. I’m not alone in this experience, I’ve noticed other reviews mentioning similar issues with customer service with Dee at this location. Our village is small, and we rely on positive interactions with local services. I hope management will address these service quality issues, as they reflect poorly on an otherwise important community resource. Every other representative at this post office are friendly and welcoming. It’s just Dee. I’m slightly baffled that she is still employed at this office as our community is one where everyone waves at one another and treats people with kindness. I’m hoping better training or oversight regarding customer service standards would be implemented which would greatly improve the experience for everyone.

I prefer no other post office but Brightwaters. From day one, the past staff and current staff have been so amazing and provided excellent customer service. I love walking in and greeting Dee by her first name like a friendly small town thing. She also provided me with a lot of valuable info and instructions as I ship out often. Great post office, great service. I am grateful for them.
