Arrived for our appointment, the employee who had been doing passport applications all day and gloated he was the only one trained at his post office to do them took my son’s photo. I questioned him about my son’s hair covering his eye and the employee said it was fine. Three week later I received a letter from the passport agency saying the photo was unacceptable due to hair covering his eye.
- MNMaria NeriSep 3, 20141.0The postal delivery from the Brewster Post Office is awful. For weeks at a time my mail as been delivered later and later into the day. After calling the post office to complain in this steady decline I was told that the mail did not need to be delivered at a specific time and was given the excuse that the carriers sometimes have various/multiple routes or they might be running a bit behind schedule. This is rediculous! I have lived in Patterson for almost 10 years, and the mail has ALWAYS been delivered in a timely fashion by at LEAST before 11am. My family owns and operates our own business and the mail not comming at a reasonable hour is unacceptable. After my complaint call the mail was delivered at a decent time for approximately two weeks. Now, even with the Labor Day holiday, we are not recieving our mail at all OR on time! Also, if there is a package to be delivered the postal carrier just drops whatever mail to be delivered on our front doorstep without any forms of offical notification to tell the household WHERE our mail actually IS. There is no respect for the customers of the Brewster Post Office. In the phsyical office there is only ever one person behind the desk to help customers with their mail and packages, which makes a trip to the post office very time consuming and stressful.
