  I had a a handful of returns to make today. I got a large box out of my car and a bag, set them on the curb so I could grab my daughter out of her car seat. While doing so the woman working must’ve noticed me and came right out to help me with my packages. Such a nice thing to do for a mom with her hands full.

  I’ve never had to return a package before through the store. The seller told me to just go in store to return it and they would help. When I got there and explained that to the associate, she took the package and scanned it and attached the label. I attempted to ask more questions and she dismissed me completely, handing me a slip and saying “nope, it’s all done you can go” . Next day the package winds up back on my doorstep. I go back to re explain and get it correctly shipped and was helped by a new associate. They explained to me that they couldn’t do return as they’re privately owned and that I would have to get a return label. I asked if they could make me one while I was there and was told that they could if I had the shipping information. Previously it was already confirmed by the seller that the info on the original shipping label was correct and to return it to that address. While attempting to explain that to the associate they also dismissed me and continued to tell me to “make sure it’s right”. What could have taken 5-10 minutes has now been a 3 day process.

  Tried to return 4 small items back to Amazon. The return QR code says no label, no box. The woman at the counter, Ashley, said they all had to be in 1 box. So I go home and get a box and come back the next day. I’m told by Ashley that they EACH need their own box. I tell her they weren’t received like that. She says I have to talk to Amazon. So after 2 wasted trips, I contacted Amazon and asked them to change the return to Staples. I normally go there but it wasn’t an option this time. Amazon did fix this and sent me a new return QR code to Staples. I will never go to this UPS store again. I have watched them give people a hard time about returns. I’d give zero stars if it were an option.
