I had a very disappointing experience at my local post office that seriously impacted my small business. I went in politely to ask about multiple packages I had dropped off two days prior that had still not been scanned. As someone who relies heavily on those scans to update my customers, this was a legitimate concern.
Instead of helping, the male customer service agent was immediately dismissive, rude, and sarcastic. He told me to leave, and when I calmly explained I was just asking a question, he responded by saying if I didn’t like his answer, “the door is there.” That level of disrespect is completely unacceptable, especially toward someone simply asking for assistance.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated incident. A few weeks earlier, the woman working the middle window told me that if I brought more than five packages next time, she wouldn’t help me. As a small business owner, that’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
Because of these repeated negative interactions, I now feel uncomfortable even going back into this location. I depend on the post office to run my business, and the lack of basic customer service and professionalism here is concerning. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how customers are being treated.

I am posting this to highlight a recurring issue with the service at this branch. Most staff members are routinely dismissive and treat customers as an inconvenience. There is a blatant lack of accountability here, as staff members frequently fail to wear identification tags.Lately, they have been downright disrespectful to customers.
The primary issues are:
Hostile Environment: Most of the team is verbally disrespectful and unprofessional.
Arbitrary Rules: Staff often enforce inconsistent, "made-up" rules that change from visit to visit.
Lack of Identification: The refusal to wear name tags makes it nearly impossible for customers to address specific misconduct.
The One Exception:
There is one female associate (identifiable by her glasses) who provides excellent, professional service. She is the only reason this isn't a zero-star review, as she is the only person here who treats the community with respect.
Note to Management:
This location requires a complete overhaul and mandatory customer service retraining. I strongly encourage management to closely monitor window interactions or review floor conduct; the verbal misconduct is blatant and would be immediately evident upon closer supervision.

Ridiculously poor. I do not fault the service people at the window. They are trying. I fault the lack of leadership. You cannot say you care about customer service when you leave one person to serve a line of 14 customers. Clearly, leadership knew that the second service window would be closed for lunch break. However, no one made an assessment of the front or the long line. Don't bother calling the station manager (as directed) for assistance. No one answers the phone. After approximately 10 rings it goes dead.

Zero stars for the Bay Terrace Post Office. I mailed 27 Christmas cards inside this post office. I watched as I placed my cards, a few at a time, into the slot and into the bin. It's 2 weeks later and not one recipient received my cards! Seven of the cards were store bought...I'm out over $50.00. I will never go into that post office again.
