Zero stars for the Bay Terrace Post Office. I mailed 27 Christmas cards inside this post office. I watched as I placed my cards, a few at a time, into the slot and into the bin. It's 2 weeks later and not one recipient received my cards! Seven of the cards were store bought...I'm out over $50.00. I will never go into that post office again.

Worst experience ever with a usps. I went there 12/8 to drop off a two packages and the shipping of both of those packages was never updated to state "Usps is in possession of the item". I went back two days later to question them whether or not they even scanned the packages and all they stated was that I had to go to the flushing location to drop it off as the shipping label was created in flushing. The workers lack common sense including the manager. Just because the label states it was created in flushing does not mean i have to drop it off at flushing. Additionally the receipt the clerk gave me on 12/8 wasn't even the correct receipt corresponding to the two packages i dropped off. He was too busy talking to his co workers that he totally forgot to scan them together and ended up scanning both packages separately also resulting in giving me the wrong receipt as he was too busy talking. When returning, I asked the lady upfront for this guys name to make a complaint. She kept repeating, "Why do you need to complain", not even trying to solve the issue. Till this day one of the packages still hasn't been updated. Id try to avoid this usps at all costs.

On Saturday, November 8th, upon entering the facility, I was carrying two large boxes and waited patiently for assistance. The female customer service representative was on her phone for a very long time before I greeted her with “hi,” she looked up and, in a rude tone, asked, “Can I help you?” I explained that I wanted to mail two large boxes and would like a price quote before sending them. I also mentioned that I had not yet written the names and addresses on the boxes. She responded angrily, telling me to step out of line to add the information, stating she could not help me otherwise. When I agreed to do so, she scolded me for “not knowing the rules.” While I was writing the addresses, the same representative began laughing and discussing the situation with her coworker. They made derogatory and hurtful comments about my behavior and lack of knowledge in front of other customers. When I returned to the counter—after the other customer had left—she refused to assist me, saying rudely, “Go to him, go to him” while pointing to her coworker. Neither employee was wearing a name tag. When I politely asked for her name, she replied, “Danisha, ummm hmmm, it’s Danisha.” I then proceeded to the male representative, who told me to place my box on the scale. After completing the transaction, I asked if he could also provide a quote for shipping two boxes of the same size and weight to Taylor, AR (71861), as the current shipment was going to Fayetteville, NC. He was very reluctant as he was engaged in a conversation with his coworder and not paying attention to the transaction. I repeated the request twice and then he said I was ignorant, referring to me as “stupid” and said I was “not doing things in the right order.” When I clarified that the screen displayed Fayetteville, NC rather than Taylor, AR and I wanted to confirm the destination, he said I was “asking too much.” He corrected the information and then laughed as though was not there. Both employees continued to mock and ridicule me throughout the interaction. When I asked for his name, he replied dismissively, “Charlie.” I have never been treated with such disrespect or humiliation in any establishment. The conduct of these two representatives was entirely unprofessional and unacceptable.

The worst USPS office I've ever been to. I came here one morning to drop off my packages, and I expected it to be quick, just like any other drop off. I had already prepaid for my labels and all my boxes were ready to go. I just needed a receipt printed. Come in and the line is ALL THE WAY out the door. I stand in line and wait like the rest because I assumed it would be quick but instead everyone is getting angry because there are two booths but they decide to only open one even though it was rush hour? They had many other employees just walking around and chatting, not helping the one employee slowly taking customers. In addition, she was not nice either. She seemed like she hated her job. Took me like 30 mins to an hour to even get to the front. Never again. I then came another day (a weekend, on Saturday) to drop off packages. This time it was the afternoon and they close at 3PM. We came at like 12PM and the door was closed? Everyone was standing outside confused, even the delivery guy with the truck was confused. He tried to phone someone and they had no idea what was going on. The crowd grew big and no one was inside, apparently we stood there for like 30 minutes hoping someone would come by, maybe they were on lunch or something. Eventually, another customer came by and told us they were freaking closed all day. So you closed all day and did NOT notify anyone, no note on the door, when you were supposed to be OPEN on a day you were open. In addition, you let your own employee stand out there in the heat and waste his time, confused, when he could have just left? He didn't even know he could leave, he was going to wait longer. My boyfriend and I had to go to him and let him know because we didn't want him to stand there any longer since everyone started leaving. This is ridiculous! I've never seen worse business, go to the one in Bell Blvd or Flushing. They're at least competent.
