I have never had my call go unanswered, they have very kind staff and are communicative with each other. Im guessing at the time of my last review in the summer of 2023 there was a staff shortage. We are going to get a P.O. Box here again, too. Ps if you are like me and have a hard time getting to the post office in time for important mail, you can opt in for mail to be scanned and reviewed digitally if you have a P.O. Box I believe. This is a service that has been offered by other companies for many years, so I am glad the post office is finally getting on board! Old review: We moved our PO box to Yerington to get better service .... unfortunately, we still have some shipments that come in for livestock ... i am unable to go to the post office during business hours and so I often call but no one picks up the phone. Recently, I've had shipments coming in and the only way to notify the post office to set aside the fertile eggs is to call. Since no one picks up my husband has to be late for work so I can pick up the fertile egg as soon as I get the notification they arrived at the post office. (we only have one vehicle) This causes a lot of inconvenience for me and my husband and is stressful for the fertile eggs / chicks that come in and have to be picked up.

On another note, the blonde woman in her 40's that works the counter most days is kind of rude. I've been in 4 times since I arrived in Silver Springs and she was impolite and moody each and every time. She also has no phone etiquette whatsoever. Might seem harsh but I'm just telling it how it is.
