I had an issue with my mailbox and walked into this post office. Very helpful and eager staff, issue was resolved within hours!

Poor service. Clerks are purposely slow and unhelpful. Give inaccurate information and change it capriciously to waste customer time. Long lines. Go to any other post office, except Verdi which is just as bad.

I was disappointed they weren't able to help us as a walk-in for getting passports. They were understaffed on a Saturday. However, the lady who I talked to was very kind and patient even though I could tell she felt stressed out by the busy day.

Rude and unhelpful. I was ignored for the first 5 minutes of my arrival. 2 post office people just standing at the window pretending I'm not there. I started a mail hold and went there on the day I was supposed to pick it up- they told me they had sent it out that day and I was SOL. I was frustrated- but I decided I would just start a mail forward since I was there and had my Real ID on me. They told me that I would need my birth certificate and rental agreements from both my previous and current address in order to start a mail forward. They said I could file the paperwork anyways and hope for the best. While I was filling out my paper (literally one paper) they told me to move over (get out of line) which was annoying because I was in a rush but oh well, I guess I shouldn't hold up the line. Then I was asked to move over again, because now, the mail people that were ignoring me decided that it was time to work and I was in their way. As I am filling it out I am being told to hurry up. They chastised me for coming in when I could have done it online. I tried doing it online but because I had already done a mail forward this year- they wanted to charge me 36 dollars. I told them this and they talked over me saying "its a scam, we don't charge" wouldn't let me finish a sentence. When I finally did get the certificate to change the address- sure enough it said in order to forward my mail I had to pay 36 dollars. Now- they are returning all my mail to sender and I am not receiving mail at either address. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. What a waste of tax dollars.

All the one star reviews are from people who either didn’t do the prework (If your passport is that important, call and ask…) or are things caused by factors the local depot has no influence over (Transit times). I’ve never had any issues in the office and my letter carrier does a fine job.
