I’ve had it with the lady clerks at the US Post Office here in Mesquite, Nevada. I hate this place. They are always rude, impatient, inconsiderate, unhappy and sarcastic. It’s always an unpleasant experience with these people. Management never does anything to remedy the situation.
I came in to submit my new passport application on 07/31/2025 at 11am (I had a confirmed appointment) and was met with instant hostility and sarcasm from “clerk 2” for asking questions about my application. The clerk was very “stand off-ish” and refused to give me her first name. The US Postal Service is a federal institution. The people here in our community need to be able to confide in and rely on the professionalism and common courtesies of what the US Postal Service stands for. Instead, I, along with countless others, are being subjected to hostility and sarcasm every time we come in here. These US Postal Service employees are supposed to be held to a higher standard of professionalism and customer service than most. I have to drive to St George in Utah to get good customer service and hospitality. Someone please intervene.

The guy that works on left side is the rudest man I ever dealt with, did not even know what the slip that was left in mail box was. He is untrained and rude!

Mesquite NV p.o is the worst, rude people at the counter and they can't even get a package to ya on time. It happens more than not, so be warned if you have something coming for any place but Amazon-they can get that part right at least.

I have been to this place twice, the people are apathetic, it seems like you are asking them for something for free... on their website it says the hours in which you can process the passport without an appointment, yet they ask for the appointment and get upset...impatient and rude with the elderly and friendly with those who can defend themselves.
