I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this USPS location. I mailed a padded envelope last week that contained two birthday cards, each with a small gift inside that I personally wrapped in bubble wrap. The package cost $8.55 to send, and I handed it directly to a USPS employee at the counter. That employee even added extra tape to the package before mailing it, supposedly for “more security.” When my aunt received the envelope, it was in terrible condition — torn, damaged, and resealed with tape that did not match how I originally secured it. The photos speak for themselves. The birthday cards inside had been opened, and all of the gifts I included were missing. There is no way this was an accident or caused by normal mail handling. My aunt’s mailbox is a locked, keyed mailbox, so tampering could not have occurred on her end. The only conclusion is that the package was opened and emptied somewhere within the USPS system, then taped back together to look untouched. The fact that the envelope arrived looking this damaged, while still being resealed to hide the theft, is extremely concerning. This was not just rough handling — this was intentional tampering. It is unacceptable that customers cannot trust USPS employees with their mail, especially during a time when people rely on the postal service for holiday and birthday gifts. These items were meant to be thoughtful birthday surprises, and instead my aunt received an empty, ripped package that had been taped over to cover up what happened. I will be filing a formal complaint with USPS, submitting a claim, and contacting the USPS Office of Inspector General for internal mail theft. Going forward, I will strongly consider using FedEx or UPS for anything of value because this experience shows that USPS is not always secure. I hope this issue is taken seriously and properly investigated so this does not continue happening to other customers.

I waited in line for 45 minutes to drop off a package because they only had one person working. This is insane

I have been going to this post office for 20 years, I work at a near bye medical office. This post office is horrible. first of all the clerk Kevin is to slow to be left alone, he literally fell asleep during my transaction recently. The other clerks handle 6-8 customers for every one he does. { he is entirely to comfortable being sub par}. Second they always say the internet is down and they cant process credit cards, yet the scanners work to scan packages and the kiosk can process credit cards, Just why are they so interested in cash only transaction...{ scam alert} third , every Saturday the go kart facility next door uses up their entire parking lot, just whom is letting them use a federal facility parking lot........ we will get to the bottom of this .

They just decided not to deliver the mail that was addressed to me and returned it all to sender. They said this was my fault because I did not put in a change of address form to forward my mail. Except that’s not how that works - change of address forms are to forward mail and they were willfully deciding not to deliver mail to the address it was addressed to. I didn’t need mail forwarded, I just needed my mail delivered where it was addressed. They decided not to do their jobs and then said it was my fault.
