I called today 2/05/26@ 3:40 pm. I was having difficulty finding out about a package supposedly delivered. Upon answering the phone : No Greeting.comolete silence. Finalyhello. again no identifying information. When I explained that I was trying to find out about a package the individual said you need to call customer service. He did not offer the number and hung up shortly thereafter. Sad what customers service has become. He probably thought it was totally fine
It was not.

My worst UPS experience and the worst experience of my trip to Vegas. I arrived Sunday at 1:50 PM and they were already closed, even though they're supposed to close at 3 PM! I waited until 3 PM and still no one showed up. A disaster. Don't trust the hours; they do what they want, they think they're in a lawless country.

Update:
I’d like to commend this store for stepping up after acknowledging poor customer service and helping me out once I came into the store to retrieve my packages. The employee I spoke to previously was able to sort out what kind of packages had been sent and explained the fee structure. I ended up not needing to pay for the packages, and had the packages been from a different type of sender, the store was opting to comp me for it anyways. I appreciate the acknowledgment and the explanation. I was able to give extended feedback in person and also didn’t need to give my work a lengthy explanation of charges, which was the big frustration in the first place. Thank you for fixing the previous interaction.

So, this started as a problem with the vendor I'm using to ship to this location – which isn't their fault – but turned into an attitude problem with someone who clearly needs to change his tone. You've got to train your employees better.
After finding out that a vendor did not disclose that this store is inside a hotel, and learning that there are package handling costs for everything sent to the store because it is inside a hotel, I called the store asking if there's anything they could do about it. They said there is not. I expressed my frustration, kindly.
Instead of acknowledging it, their employee asks, "Why is it frustrating?" He persisted. He asked it several times.
He was not asking to actually ask me because it's obvious why this is frustrating: he could not tell me the actual cost, because he said it depends on weight. Sure, guy, I get it – but you cannot be so dense to think that you are helping your case by pushing me to explain to you in an escalating manner why this is frustrating. Therefore he was asking me as a matter of rudeness. To argue with me.
I told him that I realize it's an issue with the vendor. I told him that I'm acquainted with folks who own UPS Stores in other areas. I said I understand that he's not the one who decided to charge these fees, but I also don't understand why they have to be so inflexible because now this is an unpredictable cost. And here he is, condescendingly "asking" me why it's frustrating,
This guy just continues to poke. "I'm just an employee," he says.
Yes, guy. You are. You are JUST an employee. JUST an employee whose entire job is to work with customers, and clearly to answer the phone. You gave me your answer, you did not need to ASK ME what's so frustrating about something you fully understand is frustrating, because I know you're not the owner and I know you're not someone who can help me – so instead of having some diplomacy, you're rubbing salt in the wound and offering literally nothing in this interaction except a reason to put you down in a review on Google.
Seriously. Get some tact.

Inflated pricing just because it was a hotel drop-off. The customer in front of me had their fees waived but I was expected to pay over $200 to ship my 8 boxes. When I asked where the next UPS was that wasn't in a hotel he responded with "look it up on Google".
