Filled out the form, I spoke to the supervisor, showed him what my now ex-husband did to my face, HOPING it would make a difference and get the change of address accomplished. Said I needed my address changed for safety. I never got the confirmation thing in the mail to either the old address or new as I was told I would. Did the change go through? Confirmation never sent to me to complete the change of address. It's just not possible to get this done not even when you're in danger. An entity mistakenly has mailed sensitive info to the house. No one answers the phone at this PO, so I cannot even call and ask please send it back to sender. I don't have transportation and that's really the only way to speak to someone there not that it makes a difference. All my info straight to the abuser. Now I'm just PRAYING it gets lost, or MAYBE the carrier will have a heart and NOT put it in the box. Since its impossible to actually get a change of address done legit. I put multiple requests in the mailbox before I got away to please please do not deliver mail there anymore 🙏🙏🙏 My suggestion is, don't use an address in Henderson for anything bc you can't change it EVER, not even if your safety depends on it. There's 3 things in life you can't make anyone do: 1 care 2 the right thing 3 THEIR JOB.
