To the post master: Can you train your employees to do their job correctly?

Terrible Service. I went to mail my taxes, certified with return receipt, and the guy at the counter was clearly annoyed that I didn't come with everything "prepared" which meant peeling off bar code stickers, affixing the labels to the package and a couple other procedures that I would never know about if I'm not a postal employee. Yes, I filled out my address and the addressee, but beyond that it should be the job of the postal employee to do whatever is left. He told me the directions are in the manual. What manual?? Apparently, anyone who walks into the PO to mail anything is supposed to go to the USPS website and read manuals on how to do THEIR job. And twice he talked down to me saying "it's really simple!". I have mailed my taxes certified many times at a different location and was never asked to do anything other than fill out the sender and recipient address. Whatever else needed to happen with the labels, the person at the counter always did it. The guy who assisted me today clearly didn't want to do his job. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never go to this location again. I hope Trump does privatize the post office and eliminate this kind of nonsense.

Store clerk told me my order was too big to process and he’d do half and then I’d have to wait for there to be no line for him to do more. I had 18 envelopes of important information to mail for work going to PO Boxes that can only be shipped through USPS. Regardless of how many employees are working and how long a line is, if I wait in line, I believe my entire order should be covered. I had to go to another post office for half my order.

We have a PO Box for our business. Billing has never been correct (notice of payment due always left in the box when it is auto paid online). We always get mail for other boxes and individuals not affiliated with the business, and the staff generally has no answers as to why we are experiencing consistent issues. Most of the time, your only choice for parking is at a paid meter.

USPS has been extremely unreliable in the last year. Aside from LOSING MY FATHERS ASHES by delivering it to the wrong address and allowing someone whose name wasn’t on the package to sign for and tamper with it. Today I went into the branch that had a single employee complaining about how tired they were to every person approaching the counter. I mailed 2 boxes 2 days prior but only one was scanned for tracking. Last time I went in to mail a package I was told if I didn’t need a receipt and it’s a prepaid label just leave it on the counter. This time the clerk told me I should’ve waited in line to have it scanned. Ultimately he told me if it doesn’t track there nothing they can do and I’ll have to offer the buyer of the item a refund. (and eat the cost of the item??). I asked multiple times if there was a number to call if the package isn’t delivered in a week and he said he doesn’t know the number. I begged for some other option and he said ‘the end’ and shooed me away. Trumps minions are as useless as their masters.
