I walked in today at 4:55 to mail a birthday card to my Mom. A guy who was free at the counter reached out to accept it. But then I said I still needed to buy a stamp to put on it. He then said, "Oh, in that case, we're closed." He simply refused to make a one-stamp transaction in the last 5 minutes of his shift. And someone was literally being helped at the end of the counter at the same time. So ridiculous, so lazy.

Basic service, always treated professionally and nicely by postal workers. I usually don't have more than 5- to 10-minute wait. Prefer this location over Pacheco or main downtown.

Yesterday 7/25/16 I came to this post office and encountered a situation that just both amazed me and really pissed me off at the same time. I walk in a half hour before closing and there ia a woman sitting there with a pile of at least 200 envelopes taking each one and putting a label on them and filling out a form for each one. withing 10min the two people in front of me walked out pissed off, and aside from taking her time doing something that should have been done either at home or at the very least off to the side where everyone else does these things m, she would turn around and look at you and smile as if to say, oh sorry? I asked the only worker there is there was anyone else here to help people he said no. So I sat there in disbelief that anyone could be so rude and inconsiderate and that an rmployee of the USPS didn't have the consideration, the brains, or any regard for anyone else m. Every 3 minutes you heard the sound of his scanner as she finished labeling another envelope. And neither the worker or this lady saw anything wrong with this!!! Even as people including myself left extremely pissed off!! Making comments on their way out and even asking what is going on! Seriously? What the hell is wrong with some people? Do that at home or at least off to the side until you are ready to come up and have your 200 envelopes and stickers and forms all filled out! And USPS you might want to consider hiring people who can think in simple situations like this and have some consideration for other people! I still can't believe myself and several others had to sit there in comlletee amazement and finally have to just leave because a worker didn't have the brains to do the right thing and ask this lady to please step to the side and finish your 200. Envelopes so o can help these people. Instead every 3 minutes, DInG, the sound of his scanner as he scanned yet another envelope, this was complete BS. These thugs aren't hard to figure out if you stop and just try to think of what's going on and of others!
