Why is it absolutely impossible to get an actual human on the phone?

Very incompetent people delivering our mail. They lose my packages often and I receive other people's mail weekly. I'm very disappointed they don't take this important job seriously. I don't understand how they get it wrong so often! Pay attention!

This is my fourth complaint to leave for the Edgewood Post Office. I keep having to delete previous complaints so I can leave a new one. The first complaint was because the carrier stuffed king size sheets in my mailbox, instead of putting them in a parcel locker, and I couldn't pull them out. The second time was because the carrier lied about attempting to deliver my package claiming there was "no secure location", even though I have a covered carport for packages. But the real reason was that the carrier was simply too lazy to drive to my house, despite my house being only 5 houses from and within sight of the cluster mailboxes. And now I'm having issues with the Edgewood NM Post Office manager, Nestor Duran, Jr. . He accused me of not picking up two previous packages in a timely manner even though it was his carrier that failed to leave a locker key in my mailbox so I could retrieve my packages. And both times the carrier took my packages back to the post office and left me a notice to drive there and pick them up. When the manager called me and I tried to explain what happened, the manager was condescending, argumentative and never once apologized nor took any responsibility for the mistakes and inconvenience. He seemed more upset that I left a negative review than actually trying to fix any issues and tried to blame me for not calling the post office first. But when I told him that I did try calling for 2 days and no one ever answered the phone, he just made excuses that he had been too busy. Now the carrier has failed to deliver my most recent package because the two parcel lockers were full of other customer packages. But when I called the manager Nestor Duran Jr and asked to have my package redelivered, after the other customers take their packages out of the lockers, he refused and said that it's the holiday season and redelivering my package will cause them to get backed up with other packages. So, he told me to go pick up my package at the PO instead. This is inconvenient and unacceptable

Most of the time we are having to call this post office ( well we file a complaint online) about packages being miss delivered or being labeled as delivered but not actually being delivered, but today I wanted to call and actually compliment our delivery person for doing a great job. Unfortunately this post office NEVER answers their phone. It rings and rings until it finally hangs up on you. So even though I wanted to give a compliment to the delivery person I still have to say this post office as a whole sucks.

Older woman with a bob like haircut working there has an attitude. Walked up with my prelabeled packages to the little window in the lobby asking if I could drop them off there (I know you can because a previous employee has taken them no problem) she begrudgingly took them and under her breath said to drop them off at the main lobby next door next time. This morning she was working and I went to the main lobby because I needed a receipt for my packages. When it was my turn to be attended, she had an attitude about how I placed my packages in front of her. Both experiences with her have been met with complaints so I’ll take the time now and complain about her.
