I have to say, this is the worst post office experience I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The only person I have dealt with there that is pleasant and professional is Mickie. The other one, who is apparently the one in charge, has been a nightmare to talk to. I have had at least 2 and probably more packages lost since moving here 3 years ago and asking her about them is like pulling teeth to get any information. She responds in a rude manner and usually denies any knowledge of them. This is the third time we checked USPS Informed Delivery and found out we had packages ready for pick-up for a week at the PO that we hadn't been notified of by the local PO. The first one, she grudgingly went to locate it. She found it and handed it over in a hostile way. Today we found out we had two more and when my husband asked her about it she said she didn't have time to look for it and she'd call us when she did and stomped off after he gave her our phone number. Well, the post office is now closed and no phone call and all of a sudden I'm unable to get on the USPS Informed delivery website. It says it's an unsafe website and won't connect. Coincidence? I don't know but I know i used the same post office for 20 years before moving here and never had these problems, not even once were the PO staff so rude as she is. I thought the US Mail was protected and here it is being run by a little tyrant who decides whether or not you will receive your mail or she keeps it herself. I am trying to find out who her supervisor is so I can lodge a complaint about missing mail under suspicious circumstances.

I only gave one star because a negative review is not possible. This post office has some of the worst representatives I have EVER dealt with ANYWHERE. I walked up to the counter and politely asked if I had a package. They snapped at me "And what makes you think you have a package?" I was in utter disbelief. I didn't even know what to say to that! Every time I need to go pickup a package I do so with much reluctance due to having to deal with them and just wondering what rude remark/s they will spew out. Totally and utterly unacceptable unprofessional behavior! Even more so when I am ALWAYS polite and courteous to them out of respect and professionalism despite their behavior. Their behavior is not personal or aimed at me, everyone I know agrees to their rudeness and unprofessionalism. I feel bad for anyone moving to Capitan and having to deal with them. My next step is to file a complaint with the USPS, enough is enough. So yeah, -5 stars from me hands down!
