  Comical. I get junk mail on time, every day. However, as soon as I need something important, it's lost. Feel like I shouldn't even pay taxes at this point.

  Worst post office ever. Delivery drivers are lazy and cant even be bothered to get out of their truck to attempt delivery. 98% of my packages are taken back to the post office even though theres a mailbox AND my front porch to leave them on. Whichever driver does the route that includes the retreat at candelaria NEEDS TO BE FIRED

  Came here to do a in-person proofing for a change of address around 3:00 PM yesterday. I waited 20-30 minutes in line and when I asked the clerk at the desk, she said I needed more “proof of identity.” I told her that the documents she wanted (insurance, mortgage, etc.) was in my dad’s name. She scoffed and laughed at me saying “well how in the world are you driving then?” I then left to see if she would accept my vehicles registration, waited 15 more minutes in line, and then she just said no. She laughed again at me when I told her I paid $25 to forward my mail and said “you got scammed it should only be a $1.” I told her I lived at my new place for a year, but I paid that service to renew it. She proceeded to ask the ENTIRE line if any of them paid $25 for forwarding mail. She laughed again and then made me fill out some paperwork. She scoffed at me again saying “well if I were you I would come in person next time. Way easier.” I filled out the paperwork and then she said I was good to go. Jump to today, and keep in mind this was all yesterday. I went to the USPS station near my house at 424 Veranda Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107 and THE DIFFERENCE is crazy. I got treated like a real person, she didn’t laugh at me, she just scanned my barcode and said I’m good to go. No hassle, no additional proof, no embarrassment, no judgement, just short and simple. I used to be a mailman for USPS and that was not at all what I remember about the clerks my station had. Horrendous service at this post office on Candelaria.
