Every time I go there the guy behind the counter charges people to tape up the box $2 and pockets the cash this is wrong

😔 A Disappointing and Troubling Encounter
I had a very disappointing and frankly troubling experience at the establishment, stemming from the behavior of one of the employees.
The individual in question consistently displays a shameful, arrogant, and disrespectful attitude, characterized by impatience toward customers. Moreover, the atmosphere within the establishment often feels tense; I have frequently observed other patrons who appear resentful and sometimes outwardly demonstrate behavior that could be interpreted as racially biased or disdainful.
This dynamic came to a head during my most recent visit.
There was a Black customer ahead of me at the counter who needed to seal her bag using paper tape, which she did not have. The employee provided her with the store's paper tape, allowing her to use a generous amount without charge.
However, when it was my turn, I requested to use just a one-inch strip of the exact same paper tape. To my surprise, the employee demanded a two-dollar fee.
I immediately challenged this discrepancy, pointing out, "You just allowed the previous customer to use the tape freely, and now you are refusing me a single inch of it unless I pay?"
Instead of offering a reasonable explanation, the employee began addressing me in a manner that I found to be personally embarrassing and humiliating.
This incident, coupled with his persistent poor conduct and the general unwelcoming atmosphere of the store, has left me feeling deeply dissatisfied.

I have to give a huge shoutout to “T” and David at this UPS Store. They’re the reason I keep coming back. I’m here often for Amazon returns and shipping boxes, and no matter how busy it gets, they always handle everything with professionalism and a great attitude.
David is great at multitasking and keeping the line moving while staying friendly and patient with everyone. He’s always in great spirits, super helpful, and makes sure everything is done right. Today I had a bunch of boxes to ship, and both T and David went above and beyond to help me get everything organized and shipped out quickly. Even with a rush of customers, they handled it all effortlessly and treated everyone with kindness and respect.
You can tell they both take pride in what they do and really care about providing great service. This is hands down the best UPS Store I’ve been to - and the only one I go to too even if it’s out of the way.

Tonight I brought an envelope that wasn't taped. Rushing out the house I forgot about it. The man at the counter charged me $2 for him to tape it. I didnt want to have it be a waste of a trip, so I paid it. Not sure if this is normal policy, but $2 for 1 strip of tape seems excessive.
