  DHL International Shipping is an absolute scam. They charge customers for express shipping then package is taken hostage by the foreign Customs where they apply more charges in order to release it under unjustified pretenses of items being dutiable. They hold the package until duty is paid. They applied taxes on my son's pair of orthopedic shoes and dental retainers he forgot to pack for his trip overseas. I rushed to mail them through DHL Express as he needs to wear them daily. DHL agents are useless in resolving delays and they only waste customers time when taking calls and claiming to be submitting tickets to no resolve. Every DHL employee I communicated with over the phone was incompetent and clueless. They do not have a system to handle complaints, therefore, the customers have no way of appealing charges. Use them at your own risk and be prepared to pay loads of money to have your package supposedly arrive weeks after the promised delivery time. Any object other than documents may be subject to duty taxes at the foreign Customs' discretion and there is no way to avoid it. DHL would not have my business again.

  During the delivery of an initial package, return for an exchange, and the delivery of a replacement item DHL and the multiple staff members I interacted with were polite and efficient. My packages arrived very quickly.

  Employees don't like to come to the front to help. Don't print labels. I prefer to use a different delivery service

  Arrived around 10:06 and the doors weren’t opened and the lights were off. Waited around for 15 minutes and a kind delivery employee called someone to open the door. Process was quick to get my package. I’d recommend installing a doorbell outside if the door isn’t going to be open after 10. Or at least leave the door unlocked at 10 so anyone can ring the service bell at the desk if nobody is around. Don’t want to make this a big deal but these changes would be nice, especially when it’s raining outside on the day I’m picking up.
