Most of the employees at the 07081 Post Office are genuinely professional and easy , but unfortunately, there is one front‑counter staff member who single‑handedly ruins the experience every time she’s working. She opens and is at the window on Wednesday's and fills in for the regular team, and the difference in atmosphere when she is on duty is impossible to miss. Her behavior is consistently abrupt, dismissive, and openly hostile — not just once, not just occasionally, but every single time to all customers. Simple greetings are ignored, customers get cut off mid‑sentence, and even the most basic drop‑offs are treated like an inconvenience. The stress and tension she creates spreads through the entire line, and you can visibly see other customers brace themselves before stepping up to the counter. It’s even worse on the mornings she opens. The doors often don’t unlock until 10 minutes after the posted time, leaving customers confused and crammed in the tiny vestibule waiting to get in. When someone politely knocks if the office can open, the response is sharp, defensive, and completely unnecessary. It’s a recurring pattern that only happens when this specific employee has sole reign of the service desk — a level of volatile inconsistency that makes the entire branch feel unstable, unpredictable, and disturbing. What makes it so baffling is that the rest of the staff is absolutely fine. They’re courteous, efficient, and handle the flow smoothly. But the impact of this one employee is so disruptive, abrasive, and off-putting that it overshadows everyone else’s work and turns what should be a simple postal errand into a dreadful ritual. Because of the ongoing chaos and negativity caused by this single staff member, I’ve stopped using this location entirely and now ship through UPS. Not because I prefer to — but because it’s the only way to avoid the constant unpredictability, rudeness, and escalating conflict-potential that this clerk brings to what should be a straightforward, standard visit. This post office could be perfectly reliable, but as long as one employee keeps destabilizing the entire front counter, it’s simply not worth walking through the door.

I came from New York to do my childs passport. We forgot our forms at home and they provided new ones and waited for us to fill them out. Lavida went over and beyond on explaining, helping and being patient which is rare. Usually workers at passports are so angry and rude and this was like a breath of fresh air. We were in and out in 30 minutes.
