Be aware that there is a passport-appointment-cancellation pattern for Short Hills. The USPS website does now allow to make same day appointments and I decided to call a few USPS stations with a hope of still getting an appointment. ONLY at the amazing Springfield location did they pickup the phone and a very nice lady arranged an appointment for us. There was a little wait but Ms A was working super efficient and fast as if she was powered by Duracell batteries. We did not bring a check and needed to get a money order. Bring a check and save $37. I wish this location was my local post office.

We waited over 20 minutes , no one showed up. No apologies nothing , no one cares. I hope usps gets privatized and they hire less unprofessional and apathetic front desk employees at this location.
