- SSSaraDec 26, 20251.0If you have a business, it’s better to go to another post office for shipping. Here, they do not scan your packages if you drop them off. I’ve had this happen multiple times. They will throw them in the outgoing mail alright, but will wait for the scanners to pick up the package info further down the delivery line, usually a day or two later. This causes confusion and frustration for business owners because there is no proof of custody until that scan happens. To avoid this issue, I’ve asked them the scan the packages when I drop them off and there is always an “issue” with the barcode reader. I’ll leave and take my packages to the other post office in Medford, and it works just fine.
