Yesterday, Friday, September 5, and today, September 6, I received the worst possible treatment by a worker of this place, the woman of color was not only very rude to me and my companion using denigrating words and rudeness, but she was asked for the service in a way and she simply did what she wanted and gave me the money order with balances that I did not ask for and now I have an inconvenience because of what she did, I think they should improve with people and their treatments, in the end they are working and providing a service.
Not satisfied with that, the woman insulted me when I was going to leave the post office and threatened me with a wooden rule believing that she is dealing with a relative of hers. I demand respect and dignified treatment since I am paying for a service.

The most rude individuals work at this location. They do not greet you, allow for you to speak to them or assist your concerns in any way or fashion. Kianna should absolutely be spoken to and with by your supervisor for her inability to kindly assist guest.

I see all the negative reviews, but I have to say I had an outstanding experience (btw - why in many of the negative reviews do people feel a need to call out someone by race? No one wrote the “white” girl or guy. It’s always black or dark-skinned. I’m Caucasian & I find this to be disturbing.) First - someone actually answered the phone! I was so grateful for that. I live in FL now & you will not find 1 area Post Office that will answer the phone. The phone just rings & rings until it cuts you off… over & over again. You have no choice but to call the Federal number & good luck with getting to the Post Office you need to speak with. Second - with that said, I had the great pleasure of speaking to Melinda. She is an outstanding representative of great customer service. Yes, in the USPS. She was helpful, kind, professional, efficient & understood exactly what my request was about. Yes, some of the negative reviews state that the USPS worker is on the phone - guess what? That employee is doing their job, not flitting around on a personal call. There are customers who do call in for assistance & these employees must address the concern, question, or request. Thank you for answering the phone, Melinda. I am grateful for your help & for correcting the mailing error I made all the way from FL to NJ. Excellent customer service and I wish I had somewhere to commend her on the USPS site. She deserves to be recognized for helping a customer to the extent that she did, in a timely & professional manner. btw - rude, disinterested, tone, not being helpful are subjective complaints. Sometimes an employee is doing the job within the constraints of Postal guidelines and they cannot deviate from that, no matter how many times you ask.
