Excellent customer service. Aya & Latoya were so kind to me. They went above and beyond to help me track down by package. So grateful for their help. I was having a really hard day and they turned it around. Give these women a raise!!! They deserve it.

Ineptitude and incompetence all in one. Rude and resentful.

Went to check about non-receipt of an important mail which was supposed to have been delivered 3 days prior per USPS' Informed Digest. The Post Office lady said that mail listed in the Informed Digest only means that is in the system. And that it 'will show up when it shows up'. This is the fourth time in a year I haven't received a mail piece such as an invoice from the Short Hills Post Office, leading to some sort of penalty. A poorly run post office that needs sorting out or is my experience an exception?

Had an appointment for my son’s passport today. I made the appointment a werk ago and took the day off work and took hmy son oit of school. When I got there I was told that the only person certified to process the application has been out sick - for a week already. With all the information one has to submit to create an appointment, they certainly could have contacted me - but they did not. The manager cane out and told me it was not her fault there was an “emergency” - and I should go to Clifton because the Clifton post office takes walk-ins. So we drove a half hour to Clifton where the passport processor told ua he has to take people with appointments at his location first. There were four people with appointments waiting and it was clear that each one was taking about 30 minutes. We decided to wait - but then, after waiting over an hour, more peopele came in with apppointmebts - so we had to leave. He would not honor our appointment with Short Hills. So I had to go online to make another appointment - now I will miss another day of work and my son anothrer day of school, thanks to the people in Short Hills - wno clearly have zero concern for their customers. And here is the kicker - when I went on-line to make anothet appointment - the system showed that Short Hills still has appointments availabe for tomorrow- even though the people wjo work there are well aware rhat the processor there is very sick and will be out fior a while. They all know that. They just dont”t care. After today’s adventure I just feel depressed about hiw far our country has fallen. Every day customer sercice is just worse and worse - especially government services. It is disgusting.
