- IIIsland_GirlDec 13, 20251.0This USPS location has got to be the worst that you will encounter. I understand that it’s a small office and yes of course people do have to eat. The problem is this location have varying “lunch breaks”. It’s as if you’re playing a game and you try to guess what time they decide to close for 1hr 15mins or longer. Would you believe that half the time i go there it’s closed for lunch? Sometimes from 2:30pm to 4:00pm, other times 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Yesterday i was there and i guess what? That’s right it’s closed again! This time from 1:00pm to 2:15pm. USPS is a federal office and as such should not even be closed for lunch. If there’s really only 1 staff manning this location then maybe they should start staggering the staff or providing temporary coverage from the County Ave location at least even just for the lunch breaks. It’s bad enough that the lunch breaks are quite long they even differ in schedules depending on oh i don’t know the mood of the staff there?! Post a permanent lunch break hours by the door and update your business hours online. This has been an issue for years now and whoever is the postmaster who handles this town should have already fixed this problem a long time ago. It’s not rocket science people.

Sweetest lady ever helped me today at 425pm right as they were closing. Was super nice even though I came in late, got me in and out quickly. Thank you!

If you're going to close the whole shop for an hour, you need to CHANGE YOUR POSTED HOURS, on Maps too but at the very least on the shop window! I tried to do errands on my lunch break too, and would have done it at a different time (and not wasted money on parking, too!) if this place were more professional.
