If there is only one person expected to do the work of several, management seriously needs to reevaluate staffing because that stress is clearly spilling over into customer interactions. I came to pick up a package that was marked READY FOR PICKUP, only to be met with unnecessary attitude and impatience, as if I was inconveniencing someone by… doing exactly what the notification told me to do. Being busy is understandable. Being rude is not. If understaffing is the issue, fix it. Customers shouldn’t have to absorb frustration that has nothing to do with them. Extremely off-putting experience from a place that normally does better.
