- MVMegan VMOct 3, 20251.0Last night come home, my childs’ mail was tampered with! Looks like her birthday card was sliced open with a box cutter! Sliced card, envelope, the $2 (what’s left of them anyway after they took it!) I know it wasn’t post offices’ when it gets delivered to the location because when it’s done by their machine they leave it in a bag with an apology note like we’ve experienced in the past. I’m saying this had to be done while in route…new mail person? Hard to tell there’s been too many new ones lately, use to have daily nice mailwoman, was wearing the uniform, .the next week some kid with sweat pants holding the sack of mail with no uniform. I reported the tampered mail to USPS customer service agent was nice, takes 3-5 business days. Just got back from post office wanted to speak to manager..what a waste of time, energy& gas. Man behind the counter gave me an attitude right away it seemed after showing him the tampered mail and when asking for a manager, whom he went on saying “wasn’t in and cannot do anything since it comes from Kilmer/Edison…it’s them it comes from top of something” I went on explaining “I don’t understand contact Edison?” “It gets delivered here and pushed through here to the postman or postwoman on route” he went on and on saying “we cannot do anything here” ..Of course nothing will get done want to bring it attention, taking from a kid! My kid!
