- AKAnna KaplanApr 20, 20262.0Rude employee and not helpful. Specifically referring to Robert. Rolled his eyes when I asked him a question on his recommendation on what size box I should pick to fit the package I am mailing out. I do not work at the post office, so I have no idea. I come there to mail something out and asking for box size recommendation is not out of the scope of the post office employee. A helpful guide would avoid having to put together random boxes to find the optimal size to fit a package. A simple point of a finger and verbal description would have been sufficient. This is not an out of norm ask, yet Robert was incredibly annoyed that someone could even think to ask for his recommendation. He simply said it’s easier if I ship my package as is without a shipping box. I did not feel comfortable doing that and wanted to put my package into an actual box for safety reasons. It was a clothing item I placed into a clothing gift box, one you would get at a department store. Not really fit for shipping across the country. Luckily a knowledgeable customer waiting in line was super helpful and picked the perfect box for me. Truly terrible customer service from Robert and he knew that. Please don’t work with people if you can’t handle answering reasonable questions.

The lady said they don’t do that, which is fine, except she laughed at me and explained it to me like I was stupid. I was asked by law enforcement to purchase the label so I assumed it wasn’t a crazy ask. Terrible customer service. Blonde lady with big glasses. Maybe in her late 60s.
