Ive been waiting on a package and it said out for delivery this morning, then all of the sudden it said the delivery was canceled for seemingly no reason. then later i went to check again and they had the audacity to change my package to pickup AT THE REQUEST OF THE CUSTOMER, meanwhile god only knows its impossible to get in touch with the people who work at this post office to begin with. i never requested my package for pickup and i shouldn’t have to drive all the way there when i paid for my package to be delivered

I’m a regular customer and this is an ongoing problem. I sell online for a living, and part of providing good service to my customers is getting their packages out on time. When staff refuse to scan packages and create unnecessary rules, it hurts my business. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

I mailed a simple envelope via certified mail on January 5th to Kearney, NJ. According to USPS tracking, it arrived at the Kearney, NJ post office on January 9th. Then, as of January 13th, the tracking status changed to “on its way to the next facility,” where it has remained ever since. It is now January 23rd. What should have taken three days has now dragged on for nearly three weeks, with no meaningful accountability. I’ve effectively wasted $6 with no realistic recourse for reimbursement, and the opportunity the mailing was intended to address has been lost. The USPS, as an institution, does not deserve a single dime of hard-earned taxpayer subsidization. It is staffed by Democrat-aligned union employees who have little incentive to care, because they don’t have to — their jobs are largely protected regardless of performance, and customers have virtually no alternatives when it comes to mailing a letter. This is the inevitable result of having no competition. Just like a local public utility, they can treat you — and your mail — however they want.
