System often down, and long lines when in operation. System down now, for instance.

Very poor service in terms of both customer service and efficiency. I made an appointment to renew passports for my minor children and myself. When we approached the window, the person "attending" us told us we would have to wait until 12:15 pm for the person who processes passports to return. My appointment was for 11 am, and we had arrived minutes before our scheduled time. With a dismissive attitude, she told us that if we wanted to wait, fine, or not. I asked if I could speak to the manager, who came and told me the same thing. My question is, if you schedule an appointment for a specific time, don't they check the schedule to serve customers? Furthermore, their website states that they take photos, which they do not offer. Please don't waste people's time.

I just came from there and I will not be going to this post office anymore. First off, I had an appointment to get me my first passport, mind you, the appointment was for 10am. I get there and there is a line and one employee working the line. When I get called up, I tell the employee I have an appointment. She proceeds to tell me that the person who handles the passports is not here and won't be here till 1130. Like let's be serious, why not update the appointment portion on the USPS site? Put new signs on the door? Why does this 1 employee work by herself? unacceptable!!

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this post office location. My package was marked as undeliverable due to “bad weather,” even though there were no weather issues whatsoever on that day. There was absolutely nothing preventing delivery. When I went in person to pick up the package and get clarification, the experience became even worse. The woman working at the counter was incredibly rude from the very beginning of the conversation. She had a dismissive attitude, showed no willingness to help, and made the situation more frustrating instead of resolving it. There was no effort to explain what happened, no apology, and no attempt to assist. Customer service should not feel like an inconvenience to the staff. Losing a package and then treating customers poorly when they seek help is unacceptable. I hope management addresses both the delivery issue and the lack of professionalism at this location.

I don’t think this post office could get worse even if it tried. Long lines, dirty, miserable workers.
