There was a lady at the counter, Ms. Sheila. She was super chatty and nice to the person in front of me, so I never thought I would get the rudest customer service I have ever received in my life from her. I was trying to ask her a question and she cut me off several times telling me that I was in the wrong place, to go to Newark, because the Irvington post office is shut down..all while she was checking her cell phone. I had other time-sensitive business to do that could be taken care of at any post office, but was so put off by her behavior that I just left. Very disrespectful!

There’s an old miserable lady who works here dark skin women with glasses. I don’t know what her issue was but I came to just buy a stamp and she was frustrated with me asking for a stamp, then I asked her where should I put the letter she’s like right there you don’t know how to send a letter, I’m like why are you so rude and she’s like “you don’t want me to tell you what you are go read a book” like what is her problem??

Horrible horrible. How is this woman still employed? She needs training or reassignment to not deal with people, She is so blatantly rude, zero customer service.

I visited this location today and unfortunately experienced the same unprofessional behavior that many other reviewers have mentioned The clerk on duty ( older brown skin woman with glasses) was dismissive and spoke in a rude tone for no clear reason. Customer service should be respectful, especially in a public-facing role. I hope management addresses this pattern, as the experience reflects poorly on the location.
